Flower Mound TX, which held the record of 19:37.78 since Natalie Cook anchored the team in 2022, also went faster than that by running No. 2 all-time 19:28.07.

Kinetic NY (Saratoga Springs) was third in 20:01.61.

American Fork UT's boys, with senior Daniel Simmons, ran the second-fastest 4xMile in prep indoor history with 16:43.21.

AF is just the second team to go under 17:00, which is 4:15 per carry, and trails only Newbury Park CA (16:29.31 in 2022) on the all-time list.

Simmons' anchor leg split was 4:05.

Carroll (Southlake Carroll TX) was second in 17:08.34, good for No. 6 all-time.

Plainfield South of Illinois was third in 17:21.71.
